This Mas (large farmhouse) on the edge of the medieval village of Caromb is set amongst an olive grove on one side and a cherry orchard on the other!! The owners describe it as their piece of Paradise, and I completely agree with them!!

This property is fairly unique in that you have privacy and tranquility, yet are about three minutes from the village walls, and a bit further on to the centre of the village. The house is located close to Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail, yet ideally located for exploring the Rhone Valley and Vaucluse. The village of Caromb is 25km to the north east of Avignon. Most of the major sites and vineyards are all within 30km of this house.

The house tastefully and attractively decorated to a professional level - would be a credit to any house and garden magazine! The bedrooms are situated on the second level (ie one level up from ground level!)The kitchen has all modern conveniences (dishwasher and microwave) and a large kitchen dining table where most people tend to congregate. There is a washing machine and dryer in the caretaker’s garage, for your use.

There is a dining room off the main hall way which opens into a lovely lounge which has French doors opening one way to the pool, and one way to the shady side of the house over the olive field. In front of the house is a large gravelled area where there is a large outdoor table under the shade of the trees, and beyond this is the pool and the orchards. Behind the house is an olive grove, recently planted, from where you get wonderful views of the ever-present Mont Ventoux. You will not want to leave here!

There is a 12m x 5m swimming pool which has its own pool house equipped with a changing room and barbecue. It really is a beautiful spot - you won’t want to move!! There is a resident caretaker who lives in part of the house, which is completely private and separated from the rest of the house.

Linen is provided. There are two mountain bikes for your own use! On the bikes you’ll be able to get the morning bread order in a matter of minutes! 100 Euro cleaning fee payable on arrival. WIFI.
