Sleeps 5. 3 Bedrooms. 1.5 bathrooms! This wonderful house is located in the delightful medieval village of Caromb. It is situated about 40 minutes from Avignon and is only a short distance from Carpentras. From here you are ideally positioned for exploring Provence - most sights are all within about 30 kilometres, such as Vaison la Romaine, Orange, Chateauneuf du Pape, Avignon, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes etc. The village of Caromb has many small shops (4 bakeries), a pharmacy and two restaurants. A market is held every Tuesday morning.

Sleeps 10. Five Bedrooms. Three Bathrooms. This is an exceptional home located only a few minutes' walk out fo the village of Malaucene, being some 45 minutes to the north east of Avignon. The house is set in a large garden with a most attractive swimming pool and outdoor living area. On the ground floor is an attractive lounge, dining room and kitchen plus a large double bedroom (ensuite) plus laundry. Upstairs is a large bedroom with ensuite bathroom and dressing room. As well there are three further bedrooms (double, twin and large single) which share the third bathroom. To stay here is a special stay. Touring from here is especially ideal for exploring Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles Mountains with towns such as Carpentras, Vaison la Romaine, Sablet and Gigondas being so close. A wonderful address for a summer holiday.

Sleeps 6. 3 Bedrooms. 2 Bathrooms. This house is located about a 6 minute walk from the village of Eygalières en Provence. The village of Eygalières is one of my favourites in this area with a number of stunning restaurants as well as bars, shops etc. Eygalieres is one of those villages that you just dream about - quintessentially Provencal, with bakeries, butchers, bars and pastis sipping locals!! The countryside surrounding this village is very appealing, and would be described as being typically "provencal" - cypresses, olive trees, lavender etc.! This is a great base for exploring the delights of Provence - the exciting town of St Remy de Provence is only 10 minutes away by car, and places such as Avignon, Arles, Les Baux de Provence, L’Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes, are an easy distance away.
Chez Madeleine
The village of Caromb is wonderful, being so local. It is the central local hub for this corner of Vaucluse and has the quintessential Provence look that visitors searche for; plane trees around the village square with bars and restaurants sheltered by the same trees in the summer. It is ideally located only 5/10 minutes drive from the town of Carpentras, which itself is only about 35 minutes away from Avignon. Being in Caromb you are well located for exploring the region. Places like Chateauneuf du Pape, Isle sur la Sorgue (antique market!), Gordes, Avignon etc. are only about 30 minutes away. You are especially close to the wines of Beaumes de Venise and the Rhone Valley wines of Gigondas and Vacqueyras.

Sleeps 8. Four Bedrooms, Three bathrooms. This large villa is one of two villas located on a large property with enclosed garden and security access. Very close to the centre of Saint Remy de Provence, at the end of a private road, you enter the property through a large electric gate giving access to the two quite separate villas. This recently built and tastefully decorated villa accommodates up to 10 people. To stay here is a treat!
Sablet Cottage
Sleeps 2. 1 Bedroom This is an air conditioned apartment set in the grounds of La Saugie, a 200 year old stone house, in the wine making village of Sablet in the heart of Provence. A perfect stay for a couple. The apartment is located in the large grounds (2 acres) of the owners who live metres away in their large house. You have access to the large swimming pool, which is shared with the owners. Upstairs there is a lovely airconditioned bedroom (queen bed) with an ensuite bathroom with 2 basins and WC. A most attractive fully equipped kitchen with eating area and lounge opening outside on to teh swimming pool area. Outdoor furniture, BBQ, Wifi. Not overlooked! There is a five minute walk to the centre of Sablet which has shops, markets and restaurants. There is a flexibility on start dates of rental depending on availabilities. Non smoking.
Caromb Country
Sleeps 8. Four ensuite Bedrooms. This Mas (large farmhouse) on the edge of the medieval village of Caromb is set amongst an olive grove on one side and a cherry orchard on the other!! The owners describe it as their piece of Paradise, and I completely agree with them!! This property is fairly unique in that you have privacy and tranquility, yet are about three minutes from the village walls, and a bit further on to the centre of the village. The house is located close to Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail, yet ideally located for exploring the Rhone Valley and Vaucluse. The village of Caromb is 25km to the north east of Avignon. Most of the major sites and vineyards are all within 30km of this house.
